Our last Christmas before we’re parents! (20w4d)

We had a great few days celebrating Christmas. We celebrated Christmas Eve with brunch for my extended family @ my aunts house in Mission Viejo, then with my immediate family with our traditional dinner in the evening. Christmas morning we went to Charlie’s family & spent the day there & of course watched the Laker/Heat game. We also got some more baby time w/ our little nefew Myles - who’s smile is just the cutest thing ever. I also got to chat w/ my SIL Melinda & get some good advice on products she likes/dislikes. In the eveing we came back to my parents place for dinner & played one of the funnest - non-competitive games ever - we were giggling so hard it hurt - I’m sure Elliot was wondering when the jiggeling would stop!

We were more than blessed…and it was also fun to give. My favorite reaction was Grandma Georgia’s squeal when she opened the gift certificate we gave her to get her nails done - it’s alwasy fun to hear a reaction like that! Even Elliot got a few things. Little boy clothes are just too cute…so many people say girls clothes are cuter, and while they may have more variety for girls, I think little boy clothes are just too adorable! It doesn’t hurt that I love the color blue :-)  I got some cute Maternity clothes too - I must say one of my favorite parts of being pregnant is the new wardrobe! I am having so much fun wearing all new clothes. Charlie, knowing my love for games usually gets me at least one new one each year, he got be Boggle this year & we played last night (part of the gift was him promising to play with me!). It was a fun game…I won & I hope that losing won’t keep him from playing again ;-)

Charlie came down w/ a cold, poor guy. I’m glad he has the week off work to recuperate - I’m still feeling fine - in fact, better than ever - tons of energy w/ the appetite to match it! So keeping my fingers crossed that I don’t get sick. I haven’t gotten a cold in about 2 years so I’m hoping my streak lasts!

Well I’m at work today, while everyone else is off. :-( but…I want to conserve all my time for my maternity leave so it will be worth it in the end.
