Elliot - I just can’t stop thinking his name!
Here is a pic of one of the ornaments we each made for our parents.
It has been so fun to get calls & emails from people as they recieve our card. My aunt Betsy called first and she was practically screaming with excitement into the phone. I am so glad we chose to suprise everyone this way! I feel in a way that we had been deprived of a special way to share the pregnancy b/c of our previous m/c, but I feel like this has more than made up for it. We passed out the cards @ our work, and everone is amazed. Most of the people @ my work haven’t seen an ultrsound picture since they didn’t have them when they had kids, so it was neat for them to get to see what they are like.
on another note I went to the Endocrinologist yesterday & we discussed my medication. He is such a good doctor and even called my OB/GYN during the appointment to discuss it with him. We decided (all 3 of us) to go off the meds. The main reason to remain on it right now is to prevent Gestational Diabetes, but based on my size and bloodwork I am not at a high risk, so it is most likely in the best interest of the baby to avoid any more medication. There is no evidence that it can hurt him, but without enough reason to stay on it, I’d rather not take any meds.
Tonight we are going to Charlie & Danny’s game. It is the championship game against Glendora in the Sierra Vista Tournament. I hope they win, it would be so great if they do. I have to watch myself, I get so into the games & nervous watching - I don’t want to project those feelings to Elliot. Though I do want him VERY used to the sound of basketball games!
